The Cybertec Series 1000 modem/router has been designed to provide a flexible and reliable communications platform for interfacing with both serial and ethernet enabled devices using 3G/HSDPA cellular data networks. The Series 1000 is the solution for use in remote SCADA applications where CDMA coverage will no longer be available.

Standard on all models are two switched ethernet ports, eliminating the need to use an external switch in many applications. The switch is fully managed and can support VLAN and QoS functionality.

Connecting to legacy serial-enabled hardware such as RTUs and PLCs that require emulation of dial-up modem functionality remains a key application for many customers. To provide backward compatibility with existing modems, serial ports can be accessed as circuit switched data (dial-up) or as packet switched (IP).

It is available in two versions offering up to three serial ports, each with flexible configuration options including support for DNP and Modbus over IP. In addition, two optional DIs and DOs provide limited RTU type functionality.

With a robust and rugged industrial enclosure, devices can be DIN rail or wall mounted. Power supply operates from a wide input range of 10 to 60 VDC.
