OFS wins Australian industry award

Monday, 08 September, 2014

Operations Feedback Systems (OFS), a provider of real-time manufacturing productivity and efficiency software, is the winner of the Australian iAwards Industrial Category for 2014.

The iAwards, in their 20th year, honour companies at the cutting edge of technology innovation as well as leading professionals across the ICT industry. The key goal of the iAwards is to discover, recognise and reward the ICT innovations that have the potential to have, or are already having, a positive impact on the community - at home, in the office and on a global scale. The 2014 awards were co-hosted by the Australian Computer Society, the Australian Information Industry Association and the Pearcey Foundation, with funding help from the Victorian State Government.

“We were delighted with being announced as the state winner, but to go on and win the Australian award is absolutely huge,” said OFS founder Shoni Even-Chaim. “The iAwards are special, because this is the ICT industry judging itself. To win this award is a tremendous accolade for everyone involved with OFS.”

The judges were particularly impressed with the broad range of industries using OFS and the technology developed by OFS that “sparks a conversation around efficiency”. The judges described the OFS business model as “extremely innovative and disruptive”. In an industry that is far more accustomed to high-cost capital projects taking months or years, OFS enables customers to get started risk-free within days.

“Over the past two decades the iAwards has grown to become Australia’s premier celebration of innovation and excellence in ICT, recognising and rewarding the individuals, companies and organisations at the cutting edge of our industry,” said the Victorian Minister for Technology, the Hon Gordon Rich-Phillips.
