EnVizTec becomes ISC's first industry partner

Wednesday, 13 August, 2014

Australian technology and service provider EnVizTec has signed up as the Institution of Chemical Engineers Safety Centre's (ISC) first Industry Partner.

ISC Director Trish Kerin said that the Industry Partner category was created specifically for consultants, contractors and equipment suppliers, and that EnVizTec’s focus on helping clients improve their process safety performance made it a perfect fit for this new category.

“The category provides an opportunity for businesses who don’t meet the criteria for Operating Partner, but who nonetheless play an important role in the process safety industry, to be aligned with the ISC,” Kerin said.

“In the six months the ISC has been operating under my direction, it has already signed up 11 Operating Partners.

“These cover the oil and gas and chemical sectors and I look forward to more interest from other organisations as we continue to grow our global footprint and improve process safety.”

EnVizTec Managing Director Rajendra Avargerimath said that he is delighted to be part of the ISC initiative and is looking forward to collaborating with the network of ISC partners to promote process safety within and across industries.

“We are keen to work with Operating and Industry Partners and explore how organisations can utilise technologies to improve the performance of their safety management systems,” Avargerimath said.

“We share the aims of the safety centre and look forward to making a positive contribution to upcoming important research projects.”
