Mathworks' MATLAB free one-day events

MathWorks’ annual MATLAB Tour is a series of free, one-day events, which bring together engineers, scientists, technical managers, and academia to discuss how MATLAB and Simulink software are addressing advanced science and engineering challenges.

The MATLAB Tour will be held from 12 - 22 August 2014 across six major cities in Australia and New Zealand. The tour presents a unique opportunity for engineers to network with senior MATLAB experts, MathWorks partners and peers from across industry and academia and understand how MATLAB is being used to accelerate innovation in science and engineering.

Through keynotes, networking sessions, live demonstrations and workshops, attendees will gain further insight into the new capabilities introduced in the latest release of MATLAB: 2014a and how these tools can assist in solving complex engineering problems.

Tour highlights include:

  • Keynote presentation: “Innovation Powered by MATLAB” by Stéphane Marouani, Country Manager at MathWorks Australia
  • Presentations from six industry experts who outline their successes with MATLAB and Simulink
  • Networking sessions and partner exhibition area
