JMP opens Queensland office
JMP Engineering, a turnkey provider of palletising, packing, stretch-wrapping and conveying systems, has announced the opening of a new office in Brisbane. The new office is located in Innovations Place at Loganholme.
The new office is an extension of the existing Australia business, which has its headquarters based in Melbourne. The successful Australian subsidiary has installed numerous systems throughout the south-eastern states and will now leverage this new location to identify more opportunities and provide services to east coast customers.
Michael Thornton, Managing Director of JMP, says that it was imperative for the new location to provide a number of activities from the Brisbane location, “When we set up the office we needed to make sure that sales, project management, installation and commissioning were all services that we offered.” He goes on to explain that post-sales support and service are other aspects required in a satellite office.” We’ve selected people who are able to provide mechanical, electrical and software support to ensure uptime and continued performance of installed equipment, ultimately providing value to customers.”
JMP, in partnership with Kawasaki Robotics, provides automated robotic handling systems. Hundreds of systems have been installed worldwide and can offer expertise with many material handling applications.
