Compressed air and gas system manufacturer acquired

The strategic acquisition of CompAir by Gardner Denver (New York stock exchange listed) may shake up the Australian market, with CompAir locally gaining access to an enhanced product range to complement the company's range of compressors and aftermarket services.

Managing Director Gary Woodhead said the sheer scale of Gardner Denver would enable CompAir to boost its competitiveness on the Australasian market and provide enhanced service to clients.

Woodhead said there would be greater opportunities to grow the business through joint enterprise techniques and to capture integration synergies, and customers would benefit from a greater product range and economies of scale.
