Synchronous servomotors

Mavilor’s BL Series is a synchronous electrical servomotor, with three winding phases, supplied with sinusoidal or trapezoidal current wave forms.

The feedback devices that produce the synchronisation signal and speed (position, also in the sinusoidal case) are resolver (BLS Series) or Hall effect devices (BLT Series).

This brushless technology provides high dynamic response; full speed is not limited by the ‘brush sparking effect’ and high thermal and dynamic characteristics, because of the motor’s windings located in the stators.

The BL Series also has the option of a fail-safe holding brake within the structure of the motor.
