Industrial robot demo at NMW 2013

ABB will showcase the IRB 2600 industrial robot in a plasma cutting demo cell using Hypertherm equipment at National Manufacturing Week (NMW) at stand 3517.

ABB says the IRB 2600 will demonstrate how 3D plasma cutting is possible by using robots. Integrated with Hypertherm plasma equipment, an ionised gas beam producing extreme heat will cut through pieces of metal rectangular hollow sections.

National Manufacturing Week will be held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre from 7 to 10 May. Attendance is free and for trade only.
