The KPC-157 is specially designed for use in a wide range of industries and applications such as kiosk systems, industrial control and automation, public information, home automation, gaming machines, ATMs, education, restaurant ordering, office and medical care equipment.

The KPC-157 is the first human machine interface from Kontron designed for light to medium industrial environments.

The KPC-157 integrates a fanless VIA Eden 667 MHz kernel and vivid 15" XGA TFT LCD in a light but rugged aluminium housing.

Downward capable outlets, protected expansion slot, CompactFlash socket and high quality optional touchscreen are among other features. Its fanless cooling system and NEMA/IP65 rating make the KPC-157 a suitable choice for medical applications where the reduced noise levels and environmental protection are required.

The KPC-157 is further enhanced by the availability of a PCI expansion slot. This allows the user to add an additional peripheral card when application specific hardware is required. In addition, the KPC-157 supports all current Microsoft Windows operating systems.
