HYDAC Data+ edge system

HYDAC’s Data+ is a system for the acquisition, processing, evaluation and visualisation of measured values and process data in real time for process optimisation and increased system availability.

PLC, drive technology and sensors can make use of Data+ edge computing to provide a web HMI, customer infrastructure and condition monitoring.

The modular structure as a server/web application makes it easy to adapt to different and changing needs, and the forwarding of data to other systems can be seamless due to a variety of interfaces such as Modbus, REST, WebSocket and OPC UA.

Web visualisation is compatible with standard browsers for the visualisation of physical quantities and the management of users, assets, interfaces and data points. Other features include a dashboard editor, graphic programming and simple parameterisation of the DATA+ software environment.

An optional internet connection is available that acts as an update service and offers remote maintenance and access to DATA+ and peripherals, cloud connection and customised services.

The software is comprised of the Data+ framework, a Linux operating system and software interfaces for HFI-MM, HFI-CM, Modbus TCP/RTU, CAN/CANopen, S7 protocol, OPC UA (client and server), REST and WebSocket.

The hardware has an ARM Cortex-A7 792 MHz processor, 4 GB eMMC memory and 512 MB DDR3 RAM. Supply voltage is 24 VDC and available ports include RS 485, USB 2.0, CAN, two RJ45 Ethernet and optional wireless LAN/Bluetooth.

The device has an IP65 protection class and an operating temperature range of -20 to +85°C.
